LExPro Visit to Watermelon Field

"LexPro Visit to Watermelon Field" on March 21, 2023, was a refreshing and educational journey into the heart of one of the largest watermelon crop fields in Patuakhali, Bangladesh. This Southern region gem is not only a source of antioxidants and nutrients but also a vital crop. During the visit, IAAS Bangladesh PSTU members had the privilege of interacting with local farmers who generously shared their experiences, from the initial stages of cultivation to the challenges they faced. The event was a heartfelt expression of gratitude from IAASers to the farmers for their warm hospitality, garnished with delicious watermelons, symbolizing the connection between agriculture and the community.
