The world's deltas are both the most promising and most endangered regions. Agriculture production is no longer reliable due to urbanization, climate change, rapid sea level rise, variations in temperature and precipitation, salinization, floods, waterlogging, poor water quality, and droughts. Deltas are also under pressure. In order to visualize sustainable transition pathways for agriculture in deltas and to find solutions, an interdisciplinary research team from WUR is working on the project "Deltas Under Pressure" in an integrated manner with the ultimate goal of supporting the sustainable development goal "Zero Hunger" (SDG2). IAAS Bangladesh PSTU in association with the Wageningen University & Research arranged "Delta: A Pathway for Change".
