IAAS Bangladesh HAU organized the 1st Local Congress 2026 as a student-centered educational and leadership development event aimed at promoting youth engagement, agricultural innovation, and professional networking.
The program included an inauguration session; a presentation of an IAAS and IAAS Bangladesh HAU documentary showcasing organizational activities and achievements; an interactive quiz competition; an innovative poster-making competition; and a nature & agriculture photo exhibition and competition.
The event also featured participant engagement activities, networking opportunities, and a prize-giving ceremony recognizing outstanding performances in different segments. The congress concluded with an Iftaar arrangement with IAAS members, guests, advisors, and participants, creating a collaborative and welcoming environment for students across different faculties.
The event successfully encouraged creativity, leadership, teamwork, and awareness regarding agriculture, One Health, and youth involvement in academic and extracurricular activities.
