Driving Innovation: Hosting the IAAS Bangladesh National Congress 2025

IAAS Bangladesh GAU proudly hosted the prestigious 5th IAAS Bangladesh National Congress (NaCo) 2025. Centered on the theme “Advancing Agrofrontiers: Youth-Led Innovation for Climate-Resilient Agriculture and Technology Transfer,” the flagship event united agricultural students nationwide. Day 1 featured dynamic workshops and scientific talks. Day 2 took learning further with research exposure visits to BARI and BRRI, paired with a refreshing journey to Madhupur Bhawal Forest to empower future climate-smart leaders.

Cultivating Future Leaders: The Food Systems Youth Leadership Training (FoSYL 2025)

Sustainable food security requires leaders equipped with practical skills. IAAS Bangladesh GAU proudly collaborated as a club partner to host the three-day Food Systems Youth Leadership Training (FoSYL 2025) under GAIN, Hopes Of Humanity Centre, and SUN Youth Network Bangladesh. The program brought youth leaders together to strengthen skills in nutrition, agriculture, and leadership through interactive sessions. It successfully concluded with action plans for a healthier and more equitable food future.

GAU to Abroad: Unlocking International Academic Pathways

To help students navigate higher education opportunities, IAAS Bangladesh GAU organized its highly anticipated two-day webinar series, "GAU to Abroad – Season 01". The event guided students on pursuing applications and life in the USA. The seminar featured academic insights from Professors Dr. Mohammad Saiful Alam and Dr. Md. Safiul Islam Afrad. Exchange opportunities and application insights shared by expert speakers left participants deeply inspired to explore global academic pathways.

Our team proudly launched the "Green Campus, Clean Campus" initiative alongside the Honorable Treasurer and the Director of Student Welfare to promote environmental responsibility. Additionally, our members actively volunteered at the GAU campus during the undergraduate admission test. Setting up a dedicated information booth, volunteers assisted examinees with vital logistics, cultivating a culture of leadership through community service.
